Funnel Leasing
Funnel Leasing Inc., is hiring for a hands-on Manager, Software Engineering for our Living Operations team that can 'work from anywhere' in the U.S. This team works on Funnel’s Resident Application product and owns everything related to resident living experience from onboarding (before move-in) through move-out. This is a player-coach role with a 60/40 split between individual contribution and people leadership, managing a team of 3 to 5 engineers. The salary range for this role is: $150,000 - $170,000. The Manager, Software Engineering essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Roles and responsibilities - Leading the engineering work behind the Living Operations team - Ensuring our Resident App systems are accurate, reliable, and scalable - Writing, reviewing, and owning production code and technical plans - Managing and mentoring a team of 3 to 5 engineers - Planning and prioritizing work in partnership with Product and other stakeholders - Owning integrations and relationships with third-party partners and vendors - Handling vendor-related technical decisions, issues, and escalations - Taking responsibility for system monitoring, alerting, and incident response Education, Work Experience, and Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including building and supporting production systems - 2+ years in a technical leadership role (Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or similar) - Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django for backend development - Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript React and React Native for frontend development - Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and operating production systems using Datadog - Experience leading and mentoring small engineering teams - Experience owning or supporting integrations with third-party vendors or external services - Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Role Description We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, Test to lead our shift‑left quality transformation across Storable’s engineering organization. This role is responsible for building and operating enterprise‑scale testing platforms and enablement programs that move quality earlier in the SDLC, increase automation, and improve reliability for our multi‑tenant SaaS products.
