JDE Financials Functional Consultant

Centroid Systems, Inc.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in implementing and supporting JDE World to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Accounting modules including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Manufacturing and Variance Accounting and Job Costing. Should have a strong understanding of the integrations with inventory, sales and purchasing modules. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective use of the JDE system, supporting all JDE modules. Our JDE finance consultants are strong leaders that interact with the top financial individuals at our customers with positions such as CFO, VP-Finance, and Mfg. Accountant. We are looking for a high-energy, motivated individual that can lead clients to successful solutions. Job Type: Contract Travel: 100% remote Key Responsibilities: - Deep implementation experience with JDE 9.2 finance modules - Complete understanding of Financial and Distribution Automatic Accounting Instructions - Experience with Flex Accounting set up design - Ability to understand and design security roles for accounting teams - Leading and solutioning with Accounting Teams in all aspects of accounting - Provide best practice solutions to clients with General Ledger setup and design (e.g. Business Units, chart of accounts) - Proven track record of UDO building, deployment and a strong understanding of OMW web - Perform data migrations and ensure proper data flow between systems. - Design and develop test scripts and perform system testing, ensuring that new configurations and updates work as expected. - Provide ongoing user support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues within the module. - Maintain and monitor system performance and coordinate upgrades or patches when required. - Develop and deliver user training and documentation to ensure smooth transitions and proper system use. - Keep up to date with the latest trends in JDE and ERP technologies to suggest improvements and efficiencies. - Collaborate with business users to understand sales workflows and ensure optimal configuration in the JDE environment. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into JDE configuration solutions that meet client needs. - Experience with third party tax software integrations (e.g. Alavera, Vertex) Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - Associate’s degree in accounting (or greater), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience working with JDE Finance and Accounting, specifically JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2. JD Edwards World experience is a bonus. - Full understanding of JD Edwards General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Product Costing. - Experience with JDE configuration, debugging, and troubleshooting. - Ability to translate business requirements into JDE solutions. - Proficiency with JDE reporting tools like OneView Financial statements and/or third-party reporting tools (e.g. Hubble, Business Intelligence) - Strong knowledge of JDE Table structures, data integrations, and business processes. - Experience in implementation and upgrade projects. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business users and stakeholders. - Ability to work independently or in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
