Primary Care Physician
Bastion Health
• Deliver virtual primary care visits via video and other telehealth modalities • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of adult acute and chronic conditions • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans • Provide patient education and clinical guidance • Coordinate care with specialists, care coordinators, and external providers as needed • Support patients across the continuum of care, from initial consultation through follow-up • Document accurately and efficiently in Athena EMR and internal systems • Adhere to all telehealth regulations, prescribing guidelines, and state-specific requirements • Escalate care appropriately based on clinical need
Job Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted DEA license
- Active, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple U.S. states 5+ strongly preferred
- Eligible for or participating in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact preferred
- 3+ years of post-residency clinical experience in primary care or related fields
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a wide range of patient needs
- Comfort practicing independently in a virtual care setting
- Excellent communication skills and strong virtual bedside manner
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Athena experience preferred)
