Role Description BerryDunn is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Medicaid Practice Group (MPG) that will have an initial focus supporting our client in Puerto Rico as a Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Organizational Change Management (OCM) Subject Matter Expert (SME). As part of our consulting team focused on State Medicaid Agency (SMA) clients, you will leverage your OCM expertise, along with project management and Medicaid knowledge, to help Medicaid agencies improve the health and lives of individuals. You will also be the success partner for Medicaid agencies in building healthier communities and stronger futures. This position can be remotely based or in one of our offices in Portland, Maine, Charleston, West Virginia, San Juan, Puerto Rico, or Phoenix, Arizona. You will report to senior leaders in the MPG and will help clients nationally, with your initial focus being on our client in Puerto Rico. The candidate must be willing to work standard Atlantic Standard Time (AST) business hours to align with client and team schedules. Travel Expectations: - Approximately 25–50% travel may be required to support client engagements, stakeholder workshops, and project milestones. You Will - Provide OCM services to SMA clients as they transform their organization to align with MES strategy. - As a trusted advisor, provide leadership and guidance for clients and internal project teams in the following areas: - Strategy and Planning: - Help develop and execute an OCM strategy appropriate to the client environment. - Support, and at times lead, the development of project deliverables and artifacts such as plans, surveys, and assessments, e.g. Prosci® Change Triangle (PCT), Change Readiness, OCM Maturity, and Training Needs. - Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: - Develop and manage project and stakeholder communications. - Help develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, project team members, vendors, and other interested parties. - Facilitate meetings with clients, vendors, and internal teams as needed. - Help manage and report on project status, progress, budget, schedule, quality, and resources. - Project Delivery: - Support, and at times lead, the development of gap analysis and business processes and/or documentation (e.g. reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, etc.). - Assist in developing and reviewing project deliverables and artifacts. - Document and escalate action items, issues, and decisions. - Help mentor and develop internal project team members. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (a bachelor’s degree can be replaced with an additional four (4) years related experience). - A minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing OCM practices for system implementation projects using an industry standard change management framework. - Three (3) years of demonstrated experience in an OCM lead or SME role supporting a SMA or a large healthcare provider management organization of a similar size. - Familiarity with MES modernization efforts and CMS guidelines. - Demonstrated ability to perform and/or lead change management activities using an industry standard change management framework. - Demonstrated ability to confidently facilitate meetings and present complex concepts to stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to balance multiple assignments and achieve quality results in a timely manner. - Demonstrated ability to create and sustain positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to perform and thrive in an ambiguous and changing environment. - Written and verbal fluency in English. - Proficiency in all Microsoft (MS) applications. - Proficiency in MS Visio a plus. - Spanish fluency is a plus. - Prosci® and/or other industry recognized change management certification strongly desired. - Prior consulting experience is a plus. • Provide leadership in the continued development, expansion, and execution of BerryDunn’s healthcare outsourced accounting services, including contributing to service strategy, pricing models, and business planning • Serve as a primary client relationship leader for HC-OAS engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations on accounting, finance, and operational matters • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals dedicated to healthcare outsourced accounting services, including coaching, performance management, workload planning, and professional development • Oversee and actively participate in the delivery of healthcare outsourced accounting services, including general ledger oversight, month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and review of balance sheet reconciliations • Provide oversight of outsourced accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and internal controls support • Review and interpret financial results with client leadership teams, translating financial information into actionable insights and recommendations • Collaborate closely with BerryDunn’s broader Outsourced Accounting Services (OAS) team to align resources, share best practices, and enhance consistency and quality of service delivery • Build healthcare-specific accounting knowledge across the OAS team, including reimbursement considerations, regulatory compliance impacts, and industry benchmarks • Participate in client proposals, presentations, and business development efforts related to healthcare outsourced accounting services • Provide consultative support to healthcare clients, including financial feasibility analysis, process improvement initiatives, and optimization of financial operations

• Support one or more client projects with work such as written communication and analysis along with activities such as supporting client meetings, managing action items, and tracking and reporting on project progress • Drive your development through an annual process that supports your growth goal in partnership with your supervisor and BerryDunn's learning and development team • Participate in new business development through activities such as research, supporting proposal content, or developing marketing materials.

• Lead BerryDunn projects providing services for state HHS agency clients, such as project management, IT system planning and procurement support, business process improvement/analysis, organizational and operational assessments, strategic planning, IT and data governance, workforce assessment and development, IV&V, implementation and IT solution vendor management/oversight • Lead and support delivery of services to clients on time and within budget, including assigning and managing staff and overseeing development of deliverables such as IT systems assessments, needs assessments, gap analyses, requirements traceability matrices (RTMs), IT solution vendor procurement documents, federal Advance Planning Documents, IV&V reports, and QA/testing documents • Develop project approaches and work plans, and coordinate task assignments across project team members accordingly • Report on project status (written and verbal)—including risks and issues—to different audiences, including client executive leadership • Inspire and motivate the project teams you lead, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients • Facilitate meetings and interviews with client stakeholders with confidence and professionalism • Maintain a strong focus on providing high quality services and deliverables, in adherence with BerryDunn's Consulting Quality Management Program • Play a role in developing staff; contribute to maintaining and building a positive, fun, and innovative HHS team culture; and participate in and/or lead training and other learning and development activities

• Provide OCM services to LGPG clients as they transform their organization to adopt new technologies and business process change. • As a trusted advisor, provide leadership and guidance for clients and internal project teams in the following areas: Support the project lead in managing the work of the BerryDunn project team related to OCM activities. • Assist in the development of project deliverables and artifacts such as plans, surveys, and assessments related to OCM activities. • Build strong relationships with project stakeholders, including client contacts, project team members, vendor contacts, etc. • Help manage and report on project status, progress, budget, schedule, quality, and resources. • Facilitate and attend internal BerryDunn team meetings. • Facilitate meetings with the client, team, and vendors to achieve project objectives. • Help mentor and develop project team members. • Assist in developing, reviewing, and/or discussing project deliverables. • Document and escalate project action items, issues, risks, and/or decisions to BerryDunn leadership, the client, and other project stakeholders. • Provide frequent, clear, and consistent communication to the client, team members, vendor, and direct reports.

Overview BerryDunn is seeking a Per Diem Coding & OASIS Reviewer to join our Healthcare group. This position is responsible for accurate review of clinical documentation, assigning of ICD-10 codes based on coding guidelines, and review of OASIS assessment items for correct responses. Ongoing education and consulting with the client are essential to the success of this review process. This is a remote position requiring the Reviewer to work independently. Our Healthcare/Not-for-Profit Practice Group is our largest industry sector. Our Home Health and Hospice Practice Area consists of over fifty professionals providing services to Home Health and Hospice providers throughout the country. In addition to coding and OASIS consulting services, our Home Health and Hospice team services include compliance services, interim management, and operational and revenue cycle consulting services. - Certification in Home Health Coding required - Certification in Oasis required Travel Expectations: There are no travel expectations for this position. You Will - Timely and accurate review of patient records at OASIS timepoints: SOC, ROC, Recert, Transfer & Discharge. Hospice coding & HOPE assessments experience is a plus. - Communicate directly with internal & agency clinical staff as needed via EMR notes, MS Teams or email. - Participation in BerryDunn monthly internal or external agency meetings as needed. - Maintain professional and technical knowledge, including required coding and OASIS certifications and continuing education credits by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. - Dedicate a minimum average of 20 hours per week or 80 hours per month work availability. - Other duties as assigned. You Have - Excellent communication and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage self remotely. - Minimum of 5 years recent coding, OASIS and plan of care review experience. - Knowledge of clinical coding, documentation review, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, compliance & regulatory guidelines are required - Experience with Epic Hyperspace strongly preferred. Licensure & Certification: - Certification in Home Health Coding required - Certification in Oasis required - Clinical licensure is a plus Compensation Details The hourly rate for this role is $32.00-$37.00 per hour.
