Business Analyst

• Conduct user research and stakeholder engagement to understand and capture business needs using process workflow mapping, user stories • Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and identify areas for improvement and automation • Create a product backlog of well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria • Manage product backlog to focus capacity on highest priority epics and user stories • Be a part of a multidisciplinary team to prioritize the work from concept to delivery • Support Scrum / Agile ceremonies helping drive team progress. • Ensure that products create value and meet business needs with evidence-based decisions and attention to detail • Understand opportunities and constraints across the business, technical architecture, and end-user needs • Support change management and product rollout including user acceptance testing, development of training materials, and product documentation • Partner with the project leadership to proactively communicate status, priorities, risks, and mitigation strategies for product delivery

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as an IT Business Analyst
  • Experience in software development using Agile/scrum frameworks
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with the federal government (VA experience preferred).
  • PaaS and SaaS product experience, Salesforce preferred
  • Experience using Jira

Compensation: The base salary for this role ranges between $ 63,040 - $ 86,680, with eligibility for an incentive target of 5% which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives. Position Summary: The Compensation and Benefits Analyst is part of a global human resources team and provides day-to-day support for the Company's compensation and benefits programs requirements, including data integrity in Success Factors, data feeds, vendor fees and billing, system validation, and data analysis and reports. The analyst will keep data bases up to date, including Market Pay for compensation surveys, JDX for job descriptions. In addition, the analyst will partner with the benefits administrator to cover day to day activities in their absence. The analyst will focus on process improvements and update documentation as needed. Job Responsibilities (You Will): • Assist in conducting market research and analysis to help benchmark compensation practices. Support the evaluation of job descriptions and salary structures. • Maintains job description data base in JDX. • Assists in compensation survey submission and maintains survey data in Market Pay. • Provides day to day support in maintaining data integrity in Success Factors and other systems as required. • Assists in updating and publishing plan documents in Service Now. • Process invoices related to compensation and benefits programs. Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors. • Assists in the implementation of new benefits programs and administrative processes. • Provides support for other compensation and benefits related projects as need to support the Total Rewards function and business objectives. • Partners with and provides backup to others on the Total Rewards team as required.
