• Own Payroll Plus execution end-to-end: roadmap planning, sprint priorities, delivery tracking, and follow-ups • Act as the primary product owner for Payroll Plus, covering core PM responsibilities in close collaboration with the founders • Translate founder strategy and customer insights into clear product initiatives and execution plans • Partner closely with payroll operations to understand real-world workflows and convert them into scalable product solutions • Drive discovery, define and scope MVPs, and make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, quality, and compliance • Design and refine both the customer-facing payroll experience and the internal admin and operations tools • Write clear product specs, decision documents, and alignment notes that keep teams moving without bureaucracy • Track and report key metrics (e.g., payroll accuracy, processing time, operational load, CSAT/NPS)

Job Requirements

  • Fluent German speaker (C1+)
  • 2–5+ years’ experience in product management, consulting, operations, or a founder-facing role at a fast-moving startup
  • Strong product intuition with the ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable steps
  • Exceptional ownership mindset: you identify gaps, step in, and drive work to completion
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership
  • Clear communicator and skilled writer who reduces ambiguity
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities
