Qualifications - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. - Proven hands-on Software Development experience. - Proven working experience in Java development. - Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms. - Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. - Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc). - Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). - Experience in the Spring Framework. - Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer. - Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC). - Experience with test-driven development. • Design and maintain three distinct processing pipelines — scheduled job ingestion, event-driven course processing, and a periodic knowledge graph builder — each with independent trigger logic and cost controls • Generate and manage semantic embeddings via Amazon Bedrock (Titan v2), index them in MongoDB Atlas Vector Search, and calibrate similarity thresholds to ensure match accuracy • Build and maintain a knowledge graph linking jobs, courses, skills, and industries using FP-Growth association rules and archetype-to-SOC code mapping • Build and improve a two-stage discovery and matching API on AWS Lambda — vector retrieval first, then deep eligibility scoring with LLM re-ranking • Right-size Fargate Spot instances and design resumable processing loops that tolerate interruption, keeping infrastructure costs under control as data volume scales • Maintain and improve daily job scrapers across multiple sources and build institution data scrapers with robust HTML cleaning pipelines

• Design, implement and maintain new features and functionalities for the SAAS platform, understanding the requirements of insurance businesses and translating them into scalable and efficient software solutions • Work on both the front-end and back-end of the application, demonstrating expertise in various technologies, frameworks, and programming languages • Work collaboratively with product, design, engineering teams, and UX designers to understand end-user requirements, use cases, and technical concepts, translating them into a cohesive and effective solution while ensuring a seamless user experience • Optimize the performance of the application to handle large amounts of data and high user traffic, delivering a smooth user experience • Participate in code reviews and enforce best coding practices, while also writing and executing unit tests and integration tests to maintain code quality • Investigate and promptly fix bugs to maintain the reliability of the platform • Ensure security and compliance by following best practices for securing web applications and adhering to relevant regulations in handling sensitive customer data • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure we remain competitive and innovative • Design the platform with scalability and flexibility in mind, accommodating new features and changes as the number of clients and users grows • Provide mentorship to junior developers, aiding in their technical growth and effective contribution to the team's goals

• Designing and implementing scalable backend solutions using Java 17 / 21 and Spring Framework. • Modeling the architecture using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to ensure a correct decoupling of business logic. • Writing robust code by practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and maintaining a high standard of unit testing and integration. • Active involvement in code reviews, refactoring and architectural decisions.
