Role Description We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of medium to high voltage construction projects for infrastructure utilities such as: - Substations - Water Treatment Plants - Trash burners - Bleaching plants - Switchgear - Generators - High voltage switchyards The Project Manager will manage all aspects of the project, including: - Scope - Timeline - Budget - Procurement - Client relations Responsibilities include: - Developing and managing detailed project schedules, work plans, and resource allocations. - Leading and coordinating project meetings with internal and external stakeholders. - Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation. - Overseeing construction activities across multiple sites. - Collaborating with procurement and design teams. - Monitoring budget performance and recommending corrective actions. - Conducting site visits to evaluate progress, quality, and safety performance. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. - Providing regular project status reports to senior leadership. Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of experience within the utility construction industry. - Experience with managing multi-disciplinary construction teams. - Familiarity with utility industry standards, codes, and regulations. - 20% travel is required. - Fluent in English (speak, read, write). - Osha 30 certification (Powerserve can provide this training if needed). Requirements - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred). - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). - Experience with an ERP system (e.g. MS Project, Procore, NetSuite or similar) (preferred).
