Role Description We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of medium to high voltage construction projects for infrastructure utilities such as: - Substations - Water Treatment Plants - Trash burners - Bleaching plants - Switchgear - Generators - High voltage switchyards The Project Manager will manage all aspects of the project, including: - Scope - Timeline - Budget - Procurement - Client relations Responsibilities include: - Developing and managing detailed project schedules, work plans, and resource allocations. - Leading and coordinating project meetings with internal and external stakeholders. - Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation. - Overseeing construction activities across multiple sites. - Collaborating with procurement and design teams. - Monitoring budget performance and recommending corrective actions. - Conducting site visits to evaluate progress, quality, and safety performance. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. - Providing regular project status reports to senior leadership. Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of experience within the utility construction industry. - Experience with managing multi-disciplinary construction teams. - Familiarity with utility industry standards, codes, and regulations. - 20% travel is required. - Fluent in English (speak, read, write). - Osha 30 certification (Powerserve can provide this training if needed). Requirements - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred). - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). - Experience with an ERP system (e.g. MS Project, Procore, NetSuite or similar) (preferred). Role Description The Estimator – Power Delivery is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates for EPC construction projects within the electric utility sector. This role focuses primarily on power delivery construction, including: - Substations - Transmission lines - BESS facilities This position plays a critical role in supporting business development, project execution, and risk management by: - Developing detailed cost models - Evaluating construction means and methods - Collaborating closely with engineering, construction, procurement, and project management teams Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience - 1-5+ years of estimating experience in power delivery, utility, or heavy civil construction - Demonstrated experience estimating substations and/or transmission line projects - Strong understanding of EPC contracting and project delivery models - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Requirements - Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates for high-voltage and medium-voltage substations, transmission line projects, and BESS facilities - Develop estimates for greenfield and brownfield construction - Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and models - Develop labor, equipment, material, subcontract, and indirect cost estimates - Evaluate construction means and methods, sequencing, and productivity assumptions - Analyze project risks and opportunities and incorporate appropriate contingencies - Support design-build, EPC, EPCM, and negotiated project delivery methods - Participate in estimate reviews, value engineering, and risk review meetings - Assist with bid strategy development, pricing decisions, and proposal support Benefits - Competitive salary ranging from $60k-100k and up + bonus - Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options for qualified candidates Company Description Powerserve Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
