Role Description The Senior Technical Operations Solutions Consultant enhances warehouse efficiency by analyzing, mapping, and optimizing operational processes with a strong focus on SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). This role leads process improvement initiatives, develops and implements SOPs, and partners with cross-functional teams to integrate new procedures and technologies. The Senior Consultant also manages and develops a team of Junior Operations Consultants, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement across client engagements. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Leads assessments of warehouse and supply chain processes, focusing on SAP WM/EWM environments to identify improvement opportunities. - Develops process maps, identifies bottlenecks, and recommends actionable strategies to enhance operational performance. - Designs, updates, and implements clear, practical, and error-proof SOPs aligned with industry standards and SAP best practices. - Facilitates client workshops, gathers requirements, and helps clients prioritize operational changes. - Partners with supply chain leaders and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies. - Guides Junior Operations Consultants in developing training materials and supporting SOP implementation. - Monitors performance metrics, conducts audits, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. - Stays current on industry trends, SAP WM/EWM capabilities, and emerging best practices. - Manages, coaches, and evaluates Junior Operations Consultants; participates in hiring and talent development. - Travels up to 50% to client sites to evaluate operations and support implementation activities. - Promotes a high-performance, collaborative culture and adheres to all quality and information security standards. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience. - 8+ years of experience creating and implementing SOPs to improve warehouse operations. - 8+ years of experience analyzing warehouse processes and developing actionable solutions. - 8+ years of experience mapping current and future-state processes. - 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP WM and EWM. - Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. - Active or obtainable U.S. government security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). - Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex operational initiatives. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders. - Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop junior team members. - Ability to travel up to 50%. Nice to Have (Not Required) - Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. - Prior consulting experience in a similar operations or SAP-focused role. - Experience using SAP modules beyond WM/EWM. - Experience working with U.S. Government agencies (DLA preferred). - Familiarity with warehouse automation, Industry 4.0 technologies, or digital supply chain tools. - Exposure to change management, training development, or workshop facilitation. - Technical proficiency with complementary tools that enhance warehouse operations. Compensation In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $140,000 – $180,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. In this role, you’ll not only lead group financial consolidation, but also collaborate closely with colleagues to shape the systems and policies that support our shared success. Reporting to the Finance Controller, the Senior Consolidation Manager will oversee all aspects of group consolidation under U.S. GAAP, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
