ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Create, test, and optimize NC programs for CNC machines, ensuring the accurate machining of aerospace components based on CAD models and engineering specifications. Develop efficient and accurate tool paths for milling, turning, and other machining operations, reducing cycle time while maintaining precision. Assist with the setup and selection of tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters to ensure optimal production. Identify and resolve programming issues during the production process, optimize machine performance and minimize waste. Work closely with design engineers, machinists, and quality teams to ensure the program meets engineering requirements and production goals. Continuously improve machining processes by reviewing and refining NC programs to increase efficiency, reduce defects, and improve part quality. Maintain detailed records of NC programs, tool lists, and setup sheets, ensuring that all machining processes are well-documented and repeatable. Ensure that all NC programs comply with aerospace industry standards and company-specific quality requirements. QualificationsKNOWLEDGE In-depth understanding of CNC machining processes, including milling, turning, and multi-axis operations. Expertise in using CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, CATIA, NX, or similar platforms to develop NC programs. Proficiency in writing and editing G-code and M-code for CNC machines. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings, with a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Familiarity with aerospace materials, including metals and composites, and their machining characteristics. Knowledge of aerospace industry standards, such as AS9100 and ISO9001, and their impact on machining and manufacturing processes. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in NC programming, preferably in the aerospace or precision manufacturing industry required. Hands-on experience with industry-standard CAD/CAM software, such as Mastercam, CATIA V5, or Siemens NX required. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS This is a remote position, requiring a stable internet connection and access to industry-standard CAD/CAM software. The role may require occasional visits to manufacturing facilities for onsite assessments, though most work will be performed remotely. Regular virtual meetings and collaborations with team members across different locations. Ability to sit for extended periods while developing NC programs. Fine motor skills required to input data, handle digital tools, and manipulate virtual CAD models. Occasional travel to manufacturing sites may involve standing or walking around the shop floor to verify machine setups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday development and integrations, experience working on large ERP transformation programs, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality, secure, and reliable solutions in a complex enterprise environment. The Senior Software Development Engineer acts as a subject matter expert in design, configuration and building on multiple projects, engaged in enterprise wide projects. The Senior Software Engineer leads efforts on documentation that describe processes and procedures relating to the solution and transition operational support to Technical Analysts. Essential Functions: - Business Process Analysis & Optimization: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation. Develop detailed technical specifications and solution designs to implement these improvements. - Agile Development & Collaboration: Lead and actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, retrospective). Collaborate effectively with business analysts, scrum masters, QA analysts, product owners, and other cross-functional teams to define and deliver impactful projects. - Software Development & Deployment: Workday Solution Design & Development - Lead development of ERP - Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connectors (PECI, etc.,), RaaS, APIs including WQL, and Workday Extend. - Build and maintain secure, scalable integrations with downstream and upstream systems (Payroll, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Identity Management, Benefits vendors, etc.). - Develop calculated fields, condition rules, business processes, and custom reports to meet complex business needs. - Data Conversion & Migration: ERP Data Conversion & Migration Support - Collaborate with the Data Conversion team leveraging GCP BigQuery for centralized transformation of HR, Payroll, Finance, and Supply Chain data. - Build automated scripts and validation tools to ensure data accuracy during iterative conversion cycles. - Partner with SMEs to reconcile data from multiple source ERPs and ensure high-quality migration into Workday. - Technical Leadership & Governance: Document and demonstrate solutions through clear and concise documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and code.
