About the Role The Communications Senior Consultant role involves utilizing communication, change management, and consulting expertise to manage client relationships and lead communication projects. Responsibilities include strategic writing, editing, and guiding internal teams of content developers, designers, project managers, and technical experts. Additionally, the role supports business development and practice growth initiatives. Responsibilities - Planning the development of effective multi-media communication and change management campaigns that inspire consumers to take action. - Managing large, complex client projects and relationships. Consulting with select clients at the senior HR level. - Staying current with communication trends and demonstrating fluency with delivery channels. - Creating and nurturing successful client relationships, becoming their trusted partner and influential advisor on communication and Consumer Experience issues. - Mentoring and coaching junior consultants. - Addressing client needs by analyzing industry trends and the business environment, utilizing human insight, creative strategy, and user-friendly technology. - Helping to build cohesive, high-impact teams, leveraging colleague skills and talents. - Extending and expanding work with existing or new clients. - Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities. - Creating proposals and advancing sales initiatives. Requirements - 7+ years of relevant work experience. Have education of a Bachelor’s or higher in related discipline. - Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating creativity as well as HR/benefits expertise. - Be comfortable with engaging with and presenting to clients. Collaborate efficiently and effectively with all stakeholders. - Demonstrate ability to write and guide others to write compelling communication materials for a variety of audiences and media. - Able to assimilate source materials, input from subject matter experts and other relevant documentation to create strategic recommendations and content. - Display excellent organizational and project management skills. Be able to understand role on project/team, while going beyond to add value. - Have a demonstrated experience in coaching, leading and/or managing people. - Be accountable for assignments/projects to ensure they’re delivered with excellence and profitability. - Able to partner with subject matter experts from other lines of business. Can learn and apply new technologies and software fluency, including the Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat. - Have excellent organizational, project management skills along with demonstrated presentation, business development and selling skills.
