Role Description The Sales Development Representative / Vertriebsmitarbeiter is a dynamic and engaging role focused on lead generation within the fast-growing world of robotics and warehouse automation. This role is responsible for driving pipeline growth through outbound prospecting as well as qualifying inbound marketing-generated leads. You will identify potential prospects within assigned target accounts, execute tailored prospecting playbooks and secure meetings for Business Development Managers. For initial conversations with inbound leads, the Sales Development Representative / Vertriebsmitarbeiter will identify customer business needs, articulate Locus Robotics' value proposition, and generate interest in our warehouse automation solutions. This is a remote position based in Germany and will require travel up to 20% across the EMEA region for trade shows and field events. - Research target accounts and key personas to execute multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, events) using concise, personalized messaging to schedule discovery meetings with Business Development Managers. - Rapidly triage inbound leads, conduct discovery conversations to understand pain points, timeline, and fit, and secure qualified meetings for Business Development Managers. - Partner with Sales and Marketing on account plans, event follow-ups, and targeted plays tailored to verticals such as 3PL, retail/e-commerce, and industrial. - Attend trade shows and pre-book meetings, manage scanners/lead capture, and execute fast, high-quality post-event follow-ups. - Maintain clean CRM data, document call notes and next steps, and meet activity and quality SLAs (e.g., speed-to-lead, sequence conversion). - Develop clear, concise summaries of prospect goals, key stakeholders, and triggers to accelerate deal progression. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 1+ years of experience in B2B sales or an SDR/BDR role, with proven success in outbound prospecting and meeting generation. - Proficiency with prospecting and sales enablement tools, including Salesloft/Outreach, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce. - Confident, curious, and proactive communicator who listens actively, learns quickly, and clearly outlines next steps. - Ability to travel up to 20% across the EMEA region for trade shows and field events. - Proficient English and native German written and verbal communications skills required to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams. We are looking for a highly motivated, fast paced individual who is energized by talking with Gym Owners all day. This SDR is the gatekeeper between the lead and our closing team and is often the first impression a prospect will have of Gym Launch and therefore must be extremely personable, professional, and able to build rapport quickly. To excel in this role, you must be an excellent conversationalist, an attentive listener, have the ability to adapt quickly, and understand how to create interest in our service that leaves the prospect excited to learn more and the feeling that we can help them. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. - Monitor both your calendar and the business consultants.
