• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI applications using NodeJS & TS that enhance product features and user experiences, focusing on applications like text generation, classification, RAG systems, etc. • Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for applying generative AI to solve user needs and improve the platform's capabilities. • Lead the exploration and implementation of state-of-the-art generative AI techniques, ensuring Front stays ahead of technological trends. • Inform on AI model training and deployment infrastructure, ensuring scalability and efficiency. • Dive deep into real-world data, ensuring high-quality model training and iteration • Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI applications, making adjustments and improvements to ensure they meet our high standards. • Keep abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and AI, advocating for best practices and integrating new technologies where appropriate.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Demonstrable expertise in developing production applications using LLMs and Generative AI models, and familiarity with their underlying technologies.
  • Strong experience with prompting techniques, RAG pipelines, evaluation mechanisms, and fine-tuning LLMs preferred.
  • High learning agility - you’re excited when you encounter a problem you haven’t seen before.
  • Strong product and user-centric mindset
  • Bias for impact, and pragmatism to deliver real user value through AI.
  • Strong communication skills that illustrate a clear, structured thought process and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non experts.

Role Overview Transcend is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer on the Workflows Team to build software that helps companies tackle tough privacy challenges. This team’s mission is to build both the core execution engine and the web-based configuration & monitoring surface for our workflows processes. Our workflows engine enables our customers to service customer data requests (Delete My Data, Do not Sell, etc.), enforce data minimization/data retention policies, and propagate user preferences to downstream systems. This is a remote, Exempt, Full Time position based in the United States. The successful candidate must have valid work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available. This role reports directly to our Engineering Manager. What you'll do - Collaborate with product managers and designers to build business-critical features. You will think critically about the implications of what you’re building, and how it relates to the overarching privacy goals of our customers. - Ship production-ready code. You will know what tests to write, what to log, what metrics to capture, what alerts to set up. - Work across the stack to deliver features: Typescript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS - Proactively fix production and development issues.
