We are a fully remote email marketing agency partnering with fast-growing, household-name eCommerce brands. We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Email Strategist to elevate client performance, deepen strategic impact, and contribute to the next phase of company growth. This is a high-impact, client-facing role focused on strategy, performance, and retention. You will own lifecycle marketing strategy across multiple brands, working alongside a Project Manager and execution team. The Role As the Senior Email Strategist, you will: - Own strategy development and performance for 5–8 eCommerce clients - Lead lifecycle marketing initiatives that drive retention, LTV, and revenue growth - Act as a trusted strategic partner to clients Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution - Develop high-impact email and lifecycle marketing strategies - Own segmentation, automation architecture, and campaign planning - Create content calendars and strategic direction (execution handled by team) - Lead A/B testing and continuous optimization - Bring forward innovative, data-backed ideas Data Analysis & Reporting - Track performance, revenue attribution, and ROI - Deliver clear insights and recommendations in weekly/monthly reports - Identify opportunities to improve retention and lifetime value Client Relationship Management - Manage relationships with 5–8 clients - Lead client calls and communicate performance and strategy - Act as the primary strategic partner - Identify upsell opportunities where relevant Execution Oversight - Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and implementation teams - Ensure all deliverables align with strategy and deadlines - Work with Project Managers to maintain smooth workflows What Success Looks Like - Client Retention: <5% churn per quarter - Client Load: Successfully managing 5–8 accounts - Performance: Minimum 5x ROI across clients - Strategic Leadership: Proactive, data-driven recommendations that drive growth Who You Are - Expert in eCommerce lifecycle / retention marketing - Strong strategic thinker with clear communication skills - Detail-oriented with high quality standards - Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote agency environment - Strong client-facing presence and relationship builder - Creative and analytical in equal measure - Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in email marketing for eCommerce brands
- Strong knowledge of Klaviyo or similar ESPs
- Deep understanding of deliverability, best practices, and CAN-SPAM
- Experience working in agency or high-growth environments (preferred)

The Mission Ventures Fellow will support the Science & Innovation Team in the evaluation of new biotechnology company investments as part of the PTAC initiative.
