Job Summary As a Regional Sales Manager, you are a significant driver of company revenue and growth. In this role, you will lead and drive complex sales engagements, motivated by the desire to solve critical security challenges for our customers. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans, actively displacing competing technologies, and connecting clients with the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. Key Responsibilities - Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles, proactively collaborating with internal partners and teams to ensure customer success. - Develop and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments and expanding our footprint. - Utilize consultative selling skills to initiate and nurture long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors. - Engage a programmatic and data-driven approach to demand generation to develop, grow, and expand your territory. - Maintain a deep understanding of the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks. - Leverage customer success stories to create compelling value propositions with insights tailored to each specific account. - Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services. - Travel as necessary within your territory to foster relationships and to company-wide meetings to ensure alignment. Qualifications Required Qualifications - Proven experience selling complex SaaS-based technology solutions, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas. - Demonstrated ability to lead all aspects of a complex sales cycle, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new accounts. - Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context. - Deep knowledge and sales experience within the specified territory (e.g., U.S. DOD, intelligence community, or Civilian Agencies). - Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction. Preferred Qualifications - Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners to execute a channel-centric go-to-market strategy. - A highly competitive, adaptive, and resilient mindset with a track record of ramping up quickly in new roles. - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent military/work experience.
