Job Summary: As a key driver in our overall organic growth, retention is a top priority of our organization. We are seeking an experienced sales and/or retention specialist to lead Compass Group’s account retention efforts through strategic engagement with clients, operators and field support. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Director - Retention will be responsible for retention and rebid efforts in our Corporate Services division with a primary focus on delivering winning proposals and solutions. This position is remote location with an expectation of up to 50% travel to meet clients and retain business. We offer you a significant SIX Figure earning potential with a base salary and commissions—uncapped! Responsibilities: - Work with existing clients and operators to objectively assess current operations and Identify areas of opportunity leading to successful retention of our most critical contracts. - Identify necessary support resources to bring new and ongoing innovation to our current clients - Lead the rebid strategy sessions to include cross-functional teams to develop solutions that resonate with our existing clients and are seen as value add - Work closely with our creative team and resources to develop custom sales proposals and meet RFP requirements - Communicate effectively across the organization both horizontally and vertically - Execution of the Compass Sales Process Qualifications: - Minimum of three years’ experience in new business development, retention or high level account management role; previous experience within a similar type industry preferred. - A track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and targets over time - Experience developing winning sales proposals and responding to complex RFP’s - Strong computer skills and ability to work with CRM database management system - Ability to represent the organization at a variety of industry and non-industry events. - Excellent communication skills - Ability to multi-task and establish priorities; strong time management skills - High energy, positive attitude and excellent communication/presentation skills - Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory and occasionally outside of territory - Team Player who wants to be part of and contribute to the success of a top-caliber sales organization - Interested candidates should have a BA or equivalent experience Apply to Compass Group today!
