VP of Engineering
Work Truck Solutions
• Provide strategic leadership for engineering and quality assurance teams, including Work Truck Solutions directors, managers and external outsourcing partners. • Establish technical roadmap based on platform and market requirements • Drive operational discipline and unified processes across teams to enable scalable, predictable, and high-quality software delivery. • Ensure secure software development practices aligned with regulatory and other requirements. • Partner with product and business leaders to align engineering execution with Work Truck Solutions strategic goals and growth objectives. • Scale engineering/QA operations and talent efficiently through the use of technology, include AI tools, best practices and staff development. • Lead integration efforts for acquired teams and technologies, ensuring successful alignment of people, processes, and platforms. • Establish and continuously refine engineering best practices, performance metrics, and governance frameworks. • Mentor and develop engineering directors and managers, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. • Ensure effective resource allocation, vendor management, and budget oversight to optimize global delivery.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, with at least 5 years in director-level or higher roles.
- Proven track record scaling technology organizations from hundreds to thousands of employees.
- Detailed knowledge in relevant technologies including .Net, React, Node.js, SQL Server, Azure
- Strong experience managing distributed global teams and outsourced delivery partners.
- Hands-on experience driving organizational transformation, including M&A integration.
- Excellent ability to establish global operational discipline and unify processes across regions.
- Strong background in SaaS or enterprise software development environments.
