Engineering Manager
Experian
• Lead a team of engineers focused on cloud platform services. • Oversee development of: API Gateway and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications, Ascend data curation, Centralized Airflow DAGs, Basecamp APIs • Guide implementation of: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Automated deployment strategies • Manage AWS services including: IAM , EC2 , EFS , S3 , Lambda , SNS , SQS , Kinesis , and EMR Studio • Implement monitoring using CloudWatch and other tools. • Configure networking and security best practices across cloud environments. • Set up notification systems and ensure platform reliability. • Integrate scanning tools (e.g., Windows Defender) for compliance and security. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices. • Promote innovation in areas such as AI integration and cryptographic security.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Services (IAM, EC2, EFS, S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, EMR Studio)
- API development (Java Spring Boot, Python)
- Airflow orchestration and DAG design
- API Gateway configuration
- CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- 2+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
- Familiarity with cryptography concepts, monitoring tools, and notification systems.
- Experience delivering projects in an Agile environment.
