Junior Product Engineer
MTC Solutions
• Assist in creating and updating design guides, white papers, and engineering resources. • Interpret test results and research findings under the guidance of senior engineers to produce design parameters and engineering tables. • Apply relevant design standards (CSA O86, NDS, Eurocode 5, AS/NZS) and document appropriate assumptions and limits. • Work with the R&D team to incorporate data, the Marketing team to refine visual layout and UX/UI, and the Technical Service team to address recurring industry questions. • Support the development and maintenance of calculation spreadsheets and digital engineering tools (e.g., CADwork plugins or software tools). • Identify gaps or ambiguities in existing resources and propose updates that simplify the designer experience.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Timber Engineering (or equivalent background)
- 0–4 years of engineering experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Candidate to the Engineering Profession (CPI), or eligibility to obtain registration
- Basic understanding of design standards such as CSA O86, NDS, Eurocode 5, or similar
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Proficiency in English required.
