Role Description As an Event Technologist at Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and execution of technology solutions for our clients' events. This position reports to the Manager of Event Technology. - Always provide excellent customer service. - Collaborate with internal team members, subject matter experts, and external clients. - Follow all client mandated standard operating procedures as required. - Ability to understand application and platform requirements. - Perform general application tasks throughout the program life cycle. - Actively participate in project calls. - Support other tasks as requested. - Understand payment transactions for registration websites. - Perform quality control of all aspects of the build including content review for grammar/spelling errors. - Understand and follow internal processes and procedures. - Travel onsite to support events, including: - Support of hardware and software to manage on-demand badge printing and attendance tracking. - Shipping/Receiving of equipment. - Support of mobile applications, updates, push notifications, and attendee support. - Other duties as assigned. - Follow Information Privacy and Security SOPs to protect client’s information at all times. Technology Management - Create event technology experiences that are easy for attendees to navigate and engage. - Familiarity with event technology stack solutions. - Familiarity with estimating and understanding technical build timelines. - Familiarity with maintaining reports, dashboards, and portals. - Manage the build of all attendee communications such as event invitations, reminders, travel letters, communication emails, surveys, and virtual event announcements. - Understanding of full Event Management Systems capabilities and meeting objectives on best technical solutions for: - Simple templated meetings and surveys. - Meetings with multiple web pages. - Hotel & Air Travel Requests. - Knowledge of the full suite of products from leading industry technologies such as but not limited to Cvent, SpotMe, Swoogo, and RainFocus. - Familiarity with industry-leading mobile apps using the technologies listed above. - Possess an understanding of Android and iOS user interfaces and ecosystems to aid in the downloading, installation, content display, and use of mobile applications.
