• Own Eastern market strategy across ERCOT, MISO, and SPP • Lead origination and power marketing efforts for esVolta’s Eastern portfolio • Build, own, and expand key customer relationships • Lead structuring, negotiation, and execution of physical and financial offtake agreements • Guide greenfield development strategy • Support M&A efforts to align project pipeline with market strategy • Lead cross-functional financial modeling efforts • Represent the company externally at key industry engagements • Present to the Board and investment committee on key approvals

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the power and utilities sector
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Deep knowledge of ERCOT, MISO and SPP market dynamics
  • Strong existing relationships and previous lead deal experience with utilities
  • Proven experience structuring, negotiating, and executing BESS offtake agreements
  • Strong financial modeling, presentation and quantitative analysis skills
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
  • People manager with a proven ability to manage direct reports
