• We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Software Sales Value Engineer to join our sales team • The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and customer-centric focus to help our clients realize the full value of our software solutions • This role is instrumental in driving customer success by aligning our products with their business needs, demonstrating the value proposition, and guiding them through the sales process to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes • Solution Consulting: Collaborate with sales Account Directors and prospective clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements • Translating them into tailored software solutions • Value Discovery: Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions with clients to uncover their key pain points, value drivers and articulate how our software can address their specific needs and deliver measurable value • Value Proposition Development: Develop compelling value propositions, business cases, and ROI analyses to demonstrate the tangible benefits and return on investment (ROI) of our software solutions, tailored to the unique needs of each client • Support Solution Demonstration: Leverage technical expertise to deliver persuasive and insightful software demonstrations, proofs of value (POVs) that showcase the value and capabilities of our software solutions in solving client challenges and driving business outcomes • Technical Validation: Work closely with product management and engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions with client requirements, ensuring a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation • Sales Enablement: Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to sales teams on positioning, messaging, and selling software solutions based on value-based selling principles, industry best practices, and competitive differentiation • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for clients throughout the sales cycle, building strong relationships, addressing concerns, and proactively addressing any technical or business-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction and retention • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, and actively contribute insights and feedback to product development, marketing, and sales strategies for continuous improvement and innovation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in enterprise technical sales, solution consulting, or pre-sales engineering roles within the software industry
- Deep understanding of software architecture, cloud technologies, and SaaS solutions, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value propositions
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software demonstrations, POCs, and value-based presentations to diverse audiences, including C-level executives and technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess client needs, analyze data, and develop strategic recommendations to drive sales outcomes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and navigate complex sales cycles
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused with a passion for driving customer success and achieving business objectives
- Familiarity with sales methodologies, CRM systems (e.g., MEDDPICC, Salesforce), and project management tools is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent are advantageous

Based on-site in Hammersmith, West London or working remotely, in this role you’ll enjoy a great deal of autonomy, writing compelling client proposals, including drafting and strategically evaluating proposal budgets. Partnering closely with a range of business stakeholders, as part of a highly collaborative, supportive team, you'll also be responsible for ensuring consistent management of contracts, steering these effectively through the contract management process, developing account specific standards and handling all related-documentation and negotiations. Key Accountabilities Proposal Development - Working closely with Scientific Leads, Solutions Deployment, Operations, and Business Development to perform appropriate research on previous client experience to support proposal development. - Participating in discussions directly with clients as needed to discuss timelines, questions, expectations, deliverables, etc. - Leading, facilitating and adding value to strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements, identifying key strategy team members, recommending proposal and study conduct strategy, and internal resourcing, based on experience. - Leading senior management and multi-disciplinary discussions to assure full and high-quality input. • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Tech Ops lease‑return activities for engines, APUs, and powerplant assemblies, including coordination with internal/external stakeholders to interpret contractual requirements and ensure proactive compliance with lease acquisition and return conditions. • Review and manage engine, APU, and component configurations for induction, operational use, and lease‑return implications, ensuring all specifications and configuration‑control documentation are current and compliant with company, OEM, and regulatory requirements. • Develop, publish, and maintain engineering data and modification instructions based on regulatory mandates, OEM guidance, industry standards, operational needs, and shop findings. • Review ADs, Service Bulletins, regulatory requirements, engineering documents, and OEM publications for applicability, ensuring engineering documentation, procedures, and electronic systems remain accurate and up to date. • Conduct research and gather technical data, including review of 14 CFRs and ADs, to support engineering and maintenance documentation; provide immediate AOG engineering support when approved data is unavailable. • Monitor powerplant fleet performance—including engine condition monitoring—and implement corrective actions to maintain fleet health while minimizing cost and aircraft downtime. • Develop and manage powerplant shop‑visit work scopes and schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimized maintenance planning. • Support reliability program analysis for assigned powerplant systems and recommend improvement actions. • Provide technical support across Technical Services, Line Maintenance, and Heavy Maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair approvals, and material/part substitution decisions. • Partner with the Materials organization on commercial and technical matters related to engines, APUs, and associated components. • Collaborate with internal and external entities on powerplant‑related technical, operational, and programmatic activities, including CAMP development and optimization. • Evaluate and determine BER disposition for engine and APU components. • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Technical project responsibility and leadership • Development of technical concepts for high-voltage substations (from 10 kV) and their implementation into construction-ready planning packages • Planning and coordination of workflows within the engineering team, including task allocation, schedule tracking and quality assurance • Stakeholder and interface management • Direct point of contact for clients, grid operators (transmission and distribution system operators), authorities and service providers • Negotiation of technical requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. VDE, TAB, BDEW, DIN) • Review and approval: technical review and approval of planning documents, calculations and system documentation • Ensuring standards-compliant design and documentation of all technical components • Construction support: assisting site management with technical guidance on site and resolving technical detail questions • Establishment and continuous improvement of internal planning processes, documentation standards and engineering tools • Technical support for business development/sales
