A Process Integration Engineer is responsible for driving yield and quality improvements through semiconductor process integration, defect inspection, and metrology technologies. This role supports yield ramp-up, pilot runs, and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, performs failure analysis using statistical tools, and ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) across modules. Candidates are expected to demonstrate intermediate-level skills in process integration, problem-solving, and data analysis, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration. Process Integration and Yield Improvement - Ability to leverage intermediate-level knowledge of semiconductor process integration to support yield and quality improvements. - Capability to collaborate with other departments such as TD and Manufacturing (MFG) to participate in activities aimed at yield improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement. - Knowledge of defect inspection and metrology technologies to monitor and improve process stability. 2. Data Analysis and Problem-Solving - Ability to perform failure and yield analysis using statistical tools. - Capability to apply intermediate-level problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. - Ability to identify failure mechanisms and implement countermeasures based on analysis results. 3. Quality Management and Process Control - Ability to monitor process control using basic statistical methods. - Capability to support compliance with operational processes, including interaction checks between modules. - Ability to ensure stable process outcomes through adherence to SOP and continuous improvement. - Capability to utilize manufacturing system applications to support smooth fab operations. - Understanding of basic equipment functions and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks. By translating business and operational challenges into reliable technical designs, the Solutions Engineer improves win rates, reduces late-stage surprises, and lays the foundation for successful implementations and satisfied customers. Location We are looking a remote-based Solutions Engineer to support the Eastern US Mid-Atlantic region. The ideal candidate will be based in (or willing to relocate to) the Eastern US with access to a major airport. Relocation assistance is not offered at this time. Role Summary As a Solutions Engineer, you own the technical pre-sales motions, by discovering customer needs, designing end-to-end solutions, and proving value through compelling demos, architectures, and proof-of-concepts. You'll partner closely with the Milestone Sales team to remove technical risk, build customer confidence, deliver excellent customer experiences, and move opportunities to close.
