Kubernetes Platform Engineer – Modern Cloud Projects

• Analyze and implement customer requirements in the Kubernetes environment • Design and further develop cloud-native platform solutions • Conduct customer and strategy workshops on technical and architectural levels • Advise on architectural decisions and their impact on usability and operations • Work closely with internal specialist teams (e.g., Security, DevOps, Infrastructure) • Support implementation and rollout at the customer site or remotely • Help shape long-term customer relationships through technical consulting
Job Requirements
- Several years of professional experience with Kubernetes / cloud-native platforms
- Deep understanding of container technologies and related infrastructures
- Experience integrating Kubernetes into complex enterprise environments
- Knowledge of at least two hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and ideally multiple Kubernetes distributions (e.g., OpenShift, Tanzu, Rancher)
- Technical background in networking, CI/CD, infrastructure, and security
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly — including in enterprise-level workshops
- Very good German language skills (at least B2) and enjoyment of teamwork and taking ownership
