About the Team The Vulnerability Coverage team is responsible for delivering, expanding and maintaining Rapid7's extensive vulnerability detection portfolio, aiming to provide customers with the expected level of accuracy and quality. Vulnerability Coverage team members develop a broad set of skills, ranging from technologies such as Python, Java, Ruby, AWS and Kubernetes to security domain expertise and system-level knowledge. The Vulnerability Coverage team is often considered the lifeblood of many Rapid7 products, including InsightVM and InsightCloudSec. In addition to delivering daily coverage packages to ensure that customers always have the most up-to-date coverage, the team is also responsible for providing monthly Patch Tuesday coverage and responding to emerging vulnerability threats by releasing coverage as quickly as possible. Role Description We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Data) to design and build the systems that power data movement and transformation across HeroDevs. This role focuses on developing reliable, scalable data pipelines and enabling high-quality, trustworthy data for both product and business use.
