Role Description We are hiring a Field CISO to be the public voice of HeroDevs in the AppSec and security-leadership community. - Lead the category conversation externally - Speak at major events such as RSA, Black Hat, BSides, OWASP Global, and regional CISO summits. - Publish original thought leadership: essays, research-backed reports, points of view. - Convene a CISO and AppSec advisory council and host an in-person dinner program in top metros. - Sell from the front by partnering with AEs and CRO on strategic accounts. - Translate value for prospects connecting EOL OSS exposure to metrics their boards track. - Pressure-test our positioning and product with insights from the buyer's perspective. - Coach the field by training AEs, SEs, and CSMs on engaging with security leaders. Qualifications - An AppSec or security leader with experience in application security, product security, or a significant portion of a security program. - Active voice in the community with an audience of practitioners. - Operator credibility from having done the work. - Commercially fluent, able to hold executive conversations. - Builder’s temperament, energized by ambiguity and willing to define a category. Requirements - Recent experience in a respected company, likely as CISO, Deputy CISO, VP or Head of AppSec, or VP or Head of Product Security. - Comfortable being the named, attributable face of a point of view. - Authority comes from practical experience. - Ability to partner cleanly with a sales team. Role Description We are seeking a Senior-Level Software Engineer with expertise in Java to join our Never-Ending Support team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping our team deliver new products and continue to advance our platform, ensuring availability and security for these products. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and popular Java frameworks - such as Spring. - Build platform components and contribute to product meta-development, partnering with open-source contributors, security experts, and internal stakeholders to expand customer technology choices. - Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security through best practices and modern development techniques. - Participate in architectural decisions and help drive long-term technical direction. - Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features that align with business objectives. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following industry best practices. - Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to continuously enhance the development process. Role Description We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Data) to design and build the systems that power data movement and transformation across HeroDevs. This role focuses on developing reliable, scalable data pipelines and enabling high-quality, trustworthy data for both product and business use. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop reliable, scalable data pipelines that power core products and business workflows - Build and maintain distributed workflow orchestration systems for long-running, fault-tolerant processes - Drive the performance and reliability of the data layer, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations - Establish and enforce data quality standards including validation, monitoring, and alerting across pipeline outputs - Contribute to architectural decisions and influence the evolution of our data platform - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver on business objectives Qualifications - 5+ years of experience designing and operating distributed workflow or orchestration systems (e.g. Temporal, Conductor, Dagster, Apache Airflow, or similar), including failure recovery, state management, safe retries, and production observability - Deep experience with relational databases in production (PostgreSQL preferred), including advanced SQL, index design, and database tuning for load - Experience working with distributed search or document stores (e.g. OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or similar) - Experience running production-grade services on a major cloud platform (AWS preferred), including containerized workloads on Kubernetes - Experience working with a cloud data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) and building or consuming structured data transformations - Expertise in at least one backend language (TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Go, or Java) - Strong ownership of data quality, including validation, monitoring, alerting, and a proactive approach to observability - Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset Company Description At HeroDevs, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion to drive innovation, creativity, and success. As we expand our product offerings, design plays a central role in shaping intuitive, scalable, and human-centered experiences. We are seeking a Product Designer who can help define and elevate our product experiences from the ground up. This is a high-impact role with meaningful ownership. You will shape workflows, establish scalable design patterns, and create cohesive user experiences. You’ll partner closely with Product and Engineering to turn complex technical problems into clear, productive, and engaging user experiences. Design intuitive, elegant user experiences for HeroDevs products across the full product lifecycle. Translate complex technical workflows into clear, usable interfaces. Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and documentation to communicate ideas effectively. Contribute to and evolve a scalable design system and shared patterns. Partner with Product Managers to shape problems before solutions are defined. Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation. Conduct or support research efforts (usability testing, interviews, surveys, etc.) to inform decisions. Iterate quickly based on feedback, data, and evolving product needs. Champion accessibility, usability, and consistency across the product. Stay current with modern UI/UX practices, tools, and emerging patterns.
