• Procurement of Trucks and Trailers • Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors for trucks and trailers • Negotiate purchase prices, lease agreements, and financing terms with vendors and lenders • Manage the full procurement process, from vendor selection to equipment delivery • Ensure all acquisitions align with company budgets, operational needs, and strategic plans • Fleet Leasing Management • Oversee and optimize leasing strategies to support operational requirements • Evaluate and compare lease offers to secure favorable terms • Monitor lease agreements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure leased assets meet company standards • Vendor Relationship Management • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, lenders, and leasing partners • Conduct regular performance evaluations and negotiate improvements where needed • Stay informed on market trends, pricing developments, and industry advancements • Documentation and Compliance • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulations • Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts, transactions, and financial agreements • Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management on procurement performance and financial commitments

Job Requirements

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational execution of transactional and tactical sourcing activities, ensuring speed, accuracy, and compliance while supporting global procurement transformation. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will: - Sourcing Operations & Workflow Execution: Manage end-to-end execution of quick-bids, renewals, and RFx, while triaging incoming procurement requests to meet short turnaround SLAs. - Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and suppliers, providing comparative data analyses and guiding requestors toward approved purchasing paths. - Contracting & Governance: Draft and route contracts and SOWs using approved templates, ensuring all documentation follows approved governance, risk, and expense management policies. - Data & Continuous Improvement: Conduct spend and trend analysis to support operational reporting and identify workflow inefficiencies to enhance Source-to-Pay (S2P) operations.
