Presales Engineer / Solutions Architect – Cybersecurity, Risk Management

Plurilock

• Serve as the technical bridge between sales team, customers, and delivery organization. • Shape solutions aligning to Critical Services and strategic resale offerings. • Responsible for presales solution development, customer presentations, and advisory across cybersecurity domains. • Collaborate with Account Executives on discovery calls and customer workshops. • Conduct architecture assessments and security gap analyses to guide recommendations. • Create architecture diagrams, presentations, and ROI-based justifications for clients. • Engage directly with OEM and distributor partners to craft joint solutions.

Job Requirements

  • 5–10 years’ experience in cybersecurity solution engineering, presales, or architecture.
  • Hands-on technical expertise in one or more of the following: Threat defense (EDR/XDR/SIEM/SOAR)
  • Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Zero Trust & IAM (SSO, MFA, PAM, AD/AzureAD)
  • Data protection / DLP / CASB
  • Risk and compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
  • Strong understanding of VAR and professional services delivery models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal-writing skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for executives.
  • Preferred: CISSP, CCSP, CEH, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with service packaging and solution pricing.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven security tools and trends.
