• Provide technical expertise to help product counterpart to assess, experiment and shape the direction of ClickSend developer tools. • Shapes and drive the direction and priorities of the team, actively seeking ways on how the team can better help their stakeholders and maintain focus on delivering customer value. • Work closely with product lead, product owners and engineers to prioritise initiatives, take proactive approach in outlining risks/ trade offs and prepare for the upcoming features and customer needs. • Directly manage a team of full stack engineers to engage, grow, challenge and empower engineers to do their best work. • Lead the team’s ownership of technical architecture, design and requirements of solutions in the team’s business domain. • Lead the team’s effective breakdown of solutions into work items and the efficient delivery of required changes at high quality. • Own the team’s end to end delivery of work from creation to production deployment, support and monitoring. • Effectively delegate tasks, optimise team productivity and consistently achieve fortnightly sprint goals and quarterly goals. • Liaise with team members, management, and other development stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to standard. • Identify risks and form contingency plans as soon as possible. • Own the team’s ways of working and processes, identifying and implementing improvements over time. • Establish and grow the team’s autonomy, sense of psychological safety and team culture to engage and build motivation within the team. • Cultural model for the team and company, demonstrating humility, accountability and willingness to admit mistakes and learn from them. • Grow and maintain a team of full stack engineers sufficiently skilled across the stack (architecture, frontend, backend, database, devops, security, test automation, monitoring) to deliver streams of work with minimal dependencies outside the team. • Identify and address skill gaps, and participate in hiring decisions and team composition changes. • Responsible for coaching and managing team members' career and performance. • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best engineering practices and new technology platforms.
Job Requirements
- Deep understanding of multiple developer tools, developer experience and building secure APIs
- Track record of shaping and driving significant team deliveries with quality, adopting best engineering practices and following agile principles.
- Experience working with Product Manager and other key stakeholders to shape the team’s objectives and deliver key results.
- Hands-on, commercial, in-depth expertise in the following areas:
- NodeJS & Typescript/ Javascript
- Leading, growing and managing a team of t-shaped full stack engineers
- Software design and architecture in scalable services
- Full stack development including Devops and test automation
- BDD & TDD Design and implementation of Microservices
- Implementing REST API's and integrating third party API services
- Experience in container technologies and services such as Docker and ECS
- Database experience with NoSQL, RDBMS and DynamoDB
- Hands-on experience in the following areas:
- AWS Serverless cloud computing technology
- Architecting scalable solutions with AWS for high traffic products
- Strong fundamental software development skills and strong proficiency in web-based applications and architecture
- Experience with cloud monitoring particularly Datadog and AWS CloudWatch
- Passion for a clean and beautiful code and best engineering practices
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, as well as collaboratively with cross-functional and virtual teams.
- People, career and performance management experience
- Experience building developer tools and Micro-frontends
- Devops experience including infrastructure as code (IaC) particularly Terraform and deployment tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform
- Serverless Framework experience
- Experience in test frameworks such as Mocha and Jest.
- Experience working with NodeJS frameworks, particularly Express and Fastify
- Database system experience especially RDS and DynamoDB
- Experience with messaging platform services particularly AWS SQS and RabbitMQ
- Experience with AWS technologies such as CDK, VPC, ECS, Lambda, Cognito User Pool, SNS, Kinesis, ElastiCache and API Gateway
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines particularly CircleCI
- Previous experience working with VueJS and PHP/ Laravel

Role Description Daniels Health is looking to add a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Manager to manage and oversee the maintenance of plant machinery and operations within all Daniels Health sites in North America. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and boiler equipment used in manufacturing. The role includes travel and on occasion short notice support to sites when emergency situations arise. The candidate shall have a strong background in maintenance and improvement of production equipment, and the ability to develop a sound knowledge of the working operations of a medical waste processing center. Responsibilities - Assume ownership of and improve the Maintenance department’s programs, SOPs and KPIs. - Track, analyze, and improve location’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to make recommendations for improving plant operations, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and maintenance problem resolution. - Design, implementation, and compliance of computer maintenance system (Maintain X) procedures and preventative maintenance scheduling. - Provide personal, hands-on and remote leadership, training and support to the business operations & maintenance technician staff. - Conduct onsite audits and inspections of the program to ensure compliance. - Develop a sound knowledge and complete understanding of the equipment owned and operated by Daniels including but not limited to: Boilers, autoclaves, washlines, compactors, and robotics. - Oversee planning and scheduling of preventative maintenance. - Develop and manage plans for plant equipment & maintenance processes to ensure sites meet uptime requirements and minimize maintenance costs and downtime. - Design and implement effective machine upgrades and modifications, to achieve improvements in reducing maintenance cost and equipment downtime. - Review the operation of equipment with appropriate personnel to identify maintenance issues in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity and Customer Satisfaction. - Manage vendor selection and negotiation for the outside service of key plant equipment. - Coordinate & verify work and quality of service performed by outside vendors. - Provide timely technical support to maintenance and operational staff. - Maintain a sound knowledge of OHSA regulations and display a superior commitment to workplace safety. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering required. - 5+ years of relevant experience in managing a maintenance team, ideally in a multi-site environment. - Background and experience integrating CMMS with machine PLCs, HMI’s and IIOT sensors. - Strong data analytic experience utilizing MS Office Suite. - Must understand maintenance management systems and processes, preventative and predictive maintenance, manufacturing technologies, and standard software applications. - Requires strong communication, math, organizational, and analytical skills. - Knowledgeable with hands-on boiler operating experience. - Hands-on electrical and mechanical experience with the ability to identify electrical issues, communicate fault conditions, and make repairs & improvements. - Ability to plan and design modifications on equipment to improve reliability or operability. - Ability to troubleshoot via remote connections & telephone support to find faults or technical issues of machines and remotely coach employees or contractors on repairs.
