• Independently analyze and resolve faults in various applications on Windows and Linux servers • Evaluate and interpret event logs, log files and system messages • Perform and analyze network traces (e.g., with Wireshark) to identify performance or communication issues • Work closely with business departments, developers and external partners to determine the root causes of complex incidents • Plan and execute maintenance tasks such as patching, certificate replacement or configuration changes • Maintain and document system environments and troubleshooting processes • Actively participate in the further development and automation of infrastructure and monitoring solutions • Support the rollout of new systems and technical migration projects
Job Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructures, particularly Windows and Linux servers (including services, networking, protocols)
- Practical experience in application troubleshooting and working with logs and trace tools
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS)
- Confident handling of certificates, patch management and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with monitoring and ticketing systems (e.g., Zabbix, CheckMK, Jira, USU)
- Very good German language skills, good English language skills

Role Description The Clinical Systems Analyst reports directly to the Chief Services Officer.
