• Design and construct printed circuit board assemblies, passive filter circuits, electrical subassembly schematics, and electrical block diagrams • Use KiCAD, Altium, Visio, or other schematic/diagram software • Use LTSpice or similar modeling software or similar programs to simulate circuits • Support mechanical engineers to design 3D harness routing in SolidWorks • Design, assemble, and test electronics shielding and electromagnetic interference filters and electromagnetic compatibility • Test systems to meet radiated and conducted emissions requirements, electromagnetic susceptibility requirements, and to meet constant and transient voltage requirements • Develop specifications and performance requirements for development projects • Calculate cost analysis for testing and integrating new designs • Use programming knowledge and experience to adapt equipment to specific job applications • Prepare operating instructions and programs for equipment • Oversee integration of design builds to ensure they function according to specifications • Evaluate prototypes to ensure the capability to complete desired functions • Analyze alternative techniques and methods and recommend changes to processes or procedures as needed • Share technical information and training with other departments • Solder wires, integrated circuits, and other circuit elements • Maintain electrical documentation

Purpose Perform all levels of electrical design including the development of construction documents. Responsibilities Leadership and Direction - Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially on highly complex assignments. Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Review work produced by staff for quality assurance. At the Operational and Company Level - Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships. - Represent project team in client communications and resolutions. Do the Work - Design of complex electrical systems in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles. - Responsible for more complex tasks and/or designs within project assignments. - Apply broad knowledge of engineering principles and procedures. - Oversee designs through project construction/completion. - Communicate effectively with engineers, project manager, and the client. - Conduct field observations visits to accurately document the existing field conditions. - Organize/prioritize multiple tasks to complete the design in a sequential efficient manner. - Complete electrical calculations not limited to load studies, voltage drop, panel/transformer/feeder loading, generator sizing, illumination levels, etc. - Design/layout of electrical system devices, distribution components, lighting, fire alarm and special systems applicable to the project type. - Accurately produce the project construction documents to meet milestone schedules within a predetermined hourly budget. - Attend coordination and design meetings, as needed. - Define and determine project specifications and budget construction cost estimating. - Address comments from clients, AHJ’s & other review authorities; adjust designs accordingly. - If directed, review all project related construction administrative items (shop drawings, RFI's, change order proposals). - Work within established project budgets. - Possess and continue to develop a working knowledge of all codes applicable to the discipline. - Possess and continue to develop a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. - Three or more (3+) years of relevant industry-related experience, in design of commercial, government, academic, R&D, multi-family, industrial and similar projects. - Knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT software, SKM software tools, and/or Lighting Design software (i.e., AGI, Visual, etc.). - EIT and LEED accreditation preferred. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred. • The Power Electronics Engineer is responsible for driving project delivery overseeing the full lifecycle of Pulsed Power products and solutions—from concept through development, enhancement, testing, and support • Ensure they meet performance, reliability, cost, and compliance standards • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to define technical needs, troubleshoot design challenges, and ensure quality through structured testing and risk management • Product Development and Technical Innovation • Work with internal and external key stakeholders to define specifications and scope of requirements for related projects and solutions • Identify opportunities for improvement/enhancement to current product design • Lead/participate with failure/RCA investigations • Design and deliver timely, cost-effective solutions with a focus on functionality and reliability supported by comprehensive testing and validation practices • Specify, procure, and evaluate new components or technology to be applied or integrated into existing products and solutions • Collect, analyze, interpret, and present field and bench testing data • Provide technical support to both internal and external customers (eg training and troubleshooting) • Support the sales and life cycle of BlueSpark® product and solution offerings in collaboration with all levels and departments to capture user needs, identify challenges, and implement improvements • Create, review, revise and maintain all required documentation, specifications, and schematics to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality management systems (QMS)
