Sales Engineer

• Manage existing OEM customer sales and develop new customer sales by capturing customer requirements • Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications, forward them to the engineering/design team and discuss them • Use input from the engineering team to prepare proposals and manage the sales process, including presenting proposals and discussing them with customers • Define work plans for projects, determine required resources and schedules, and procure necessary personnel and material resources • Define deliverables and assign tasks, ensuring projects have the right allocation of personnel and skills • Identify and escalate obstacles and risks; lead activities and maintain the project schedule; resolve issues and coordinate resources assigned to a project (internal or third-party) to ensure technical quality and project delivery according to agreed plans and design • Ensure full compliance with local laws and health and safety requirements during project execution • Ensure all personnel work safely and in a secure environment • Manage spare parts operations and claims for the assigned sales territory with German OEMs, in collaboration with the Key Account team

Job Requirements

  • Experience in technical project management; preferably more than 5 years' experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Strong coordination and excellent communication skills are a must
  • Experience working with professional service providers/third-party vendors
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguity
  • Strong sense of accountability
  • Good German and English language skills
  • Flexibility regarding travel and working hours

We are seeking a technical and commercial leader to push our Sales Engineering function forward. This strategic role is the primary technical bridge between our clients (utilities, RTOs/ISOs, renewable energy developers, and data center operators) and our internal software development teams.
