About this role: The SME Contractor is primarily focused on writing/maintaining our OpenTofu IaC code library within the Kubernetes and Networking “subject matter expertise.” The role is intended to be a very flexible part time role, tickets are assigned and generally have a 1-3 day SLA, so there’s flexibility as to when work gets done. You’re very comfortable with AWS, and feel you are an expert on a certain subset of AWS’s services, such as networking, databases, security etc. You’re familiar with testing OpenTofu code with tools like Terratest or the built in tofu test capability. You’re very organized, comfortable working independently. You’re comfortable acting as a tech lead, running projects, tracking work in a tool like Jira or Linear and communicating with other team members to ensure broader objectives are met. This is a mid-level contractor position, paid based on an hourly rate. We expect an average of ~20 hours of work per week, with the possibility of up to 30 hours depending on your availability and skill level. One of the great perks of contracting is flex time — you’ll have control over when you work. That said, we do expect to support some customers in the EU time zone, so there may occasionally be a need to work on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) depending on scheduling and coverage needs. • Support VistA and Ambient AI Scribe interface testing across Primary Care pilot and go-live sites. • Assist in validating system interactions and technical workflows within CPRS/VistA environments. • Identify technical gaps, workflow dependencies, and operational impacts observed during testing. • Attend training sessions, office hours, and technical support calls to troubleshoot issues in real time. • Monitor collaboration platforms to identify and respond to emerging technical issues. • Work with multiple Ambient AI vendors independently to troubleshoot technical issues impacting providers. • Conduct workflow reviews with VA programs evaluating Ambient AI Scribe capabilities. • Support testing and evaluation of peripheral equipment.

• Design, develop, and optimize Generative AI solutions (LLMs, RAG systems, AI agents). • Fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy large language models for enterprise use cases. • Build and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines, from data ingestion to inference. • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using vector databases and knowledge stores. • Integrate GenAI solutions with existing systems via APIs and microservices. • Optimize model performance, latency, and cost on cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to translate business needs into AI solutions. • Ensure AI solutions follow best practices in security, governance, and responsible AI. • Stay up to date with the latest developments in GenAI, LLMs, and AI tooling.

• Use AI tools to produce high-volume marketing content, with a strong focus on short-form videos. • Create and publish daily AI-generated videos for brand awareness and marketing campaigns. • Develop, launch, and optimize AI-powered LinkedIn ad campaigns. • Implement AI solutions for email marketing, content repurposing, and campaign automation. • Research, test, and deploy new AI tools to improve speed, scale, and ROI. • Document AI workflows, automations, and processes clearly for team use
