• The Site Reliability Engineer II supports OpenTable’s development and production container infrastructure. • Work with multiple engineering teams across the globe as an SME for Kubernetes and other technologies. • Participate in high-impact projects, support team priorities, and help foster good communication with stakeholders. • Help build greenfield projects, mitigate infrastructure incidents, and participate in on-call rotation. • Maximum low-level exposure and experience in a self-hosted data center environment.

• You will drive the implementation of our security architecture roadmap, strengthen product resilience and ensure sustainable, compliant and rapid incident response capacity. • This role enables our shift to proactive readiness, supports business continuity execution, and ensures we meet growing regulatory and customer security demands. • You will work closely with the DevOps team to ensure our product is not only stable and available 24/7, but also secure, resilient and trustworthy for every customer. • You will be responsible for ensuring security readiness into the workflows, ensuring that every application change, system component and operational process meets our security, compliance and incident‑response standards. • You will also focus in strengthening the platform’s reliability by building secure automation, improving our ability to detect and respond to incidents as well as ensuring we can recover quickly in critical situations. • You will enable agility without compromising safety, helping us deliver a product that is both easy for customers to rely on and protected against modern threats.

• Broadly, Site Reliability or DevSecOps engineer with a passion for, automation, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and capacity planning. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of frameworks for monitoring, automation and code to increase the scalability and reliability of the service • Assist both internal and customer facing teams with deployment of new software releases, VPN and other related security infrastructure interfacing. • Assist with resolution of AutoRABIT service or customer issues as required • Participate in and practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems • Contribute to the automation of manual tasks, such as the provisioning of users in production and test environments. • Work within a small agile team to develop and improve SRE software, support your peers, plan and self-improve • Participate in a regular on-call or rotational schedule needed to support AutoRABIT servers, including weekends and holidays

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls integrated into the SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments, ensuring security by default across development and operations. • Collaborate closely with Engineering and DevOps teams to secure cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and containerized workloads. • Implement and maintain security configurations in AWS and GCP (e.g., IAM, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Groups), continuously strengthening the cloud security posture. • Automate security processes and controls using scripting and infrastructure as code to improve efficiency and scalability. • Ensure DevSecOps practices align with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001/27701, and SOC 2, supporting audits and internal security assessments. • Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and architectures (e.g., Kubernetes enhancements, AI integrations) to ensure secure adoption.
