Role Description Cardinal Technology Systems Corp. is currently seeking a Reports Engineer to work for our company. - Must possess IT-I security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). - Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-level reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI platforms such as SAP Business Objects, Power BI, or similar tools. - Collaborate with data engineering teams to leverage dimensional data models (star and snowflake schemas) that support intuitive, high-performance reporting. - Write and optimize complex SQL queries across environments including Databricks and Oracle, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability for large datasets. - Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions by partnering with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders. - Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize reporting performance, identifying opportunities to improve query execution, data refresh cycles, and user experience. - Leverage AWS services such as S3, EMR, Redshift, and Glue to support cloud-native reporting and analytics workflows. - Manage the full life cycle of reporting assets, including documentation, version control, scheduling, and automated refresh processes. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs, implementing best practices for validation and reconciliation. - Provide guidance and mentorship on reporting standards, design patterns, and performance optimization, contributing to continuous improvement of the BI environment. Qualifications - 6+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise-level reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI platforms such as SAP Business Objects, Power BI, or similar tools. - 5+ years of experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and analyze data from large datasets, including environments such as Oracle and Databricks. - Demonstrated experience collaborating with data engineering teams to leverage dimensional data models (star and snowflake schemas) for intuitive and high-performance reporting. - 4+ years of experience partnering with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications and actionable insights. - Proven ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize report and query performance to ensure reliability, accuracy, and a positive user experience. - Hands-on experience leveraging core AWS services (such as S3, EMR, Redshift, and Glue) to support cloud-based reporting and analytics solutions. - Experience managing the full lifecycle of reporting assets, including documentation, version control, scheduling, and automated refresh processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a senior capacity while contributing to team-based solutions. • Develop, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, DOMO) to monitor supply chain performance. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities in inventory management, order fulfillment, and supplier performance. • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to improve key metrics such as OTIF, fill rates, shrink, location accuracy, and inventory turnover. • Extract, clean, and structure data from multiple sources (ERP, WMS, TMS, and external vendor systems). • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts. • Support cost optimization initiatives by analyzing spend patterns, forecasting demand, and improving freight and distribution strategies. • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Procurement, and IT) to align data insights with business objectives. • Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security while ensuring compliance with industry regulations (GMP, FDA, GDP, etc.).

• Develop sales and customer service analytics and dashboards, supporting pipeline reporting, and translating Hubspot CRM data into actionable insights. • Operate within Tidal's enterprise BI governance framework and ensure all sales and customer service metrics, KPI logic, and reporting assets follow BI-defined standards. • Serve as the sales/CSM SME for Hubspot data, define business requirements for Snowflake and DBT ingestion, and collaborate with Data Platforms to ensure sales and customer service datasets are modeled accurately. • Build and maintain Sigma dashboards for ETF sales pipeline performance, customer engagement metrics, lead conversion, and CSM activity monitoring. • Develop standardized reporting outputs for pipeline velocity, deal progression, customer health scores, and sales/CSM performance analytics. • Automate daily and weekly sales and customer service reporting using validated Snowflake datasets.
