Business Intelligence Analyst, Supply Chain

• Develop, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, DOMO) to monitor supply chain performance. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities in inventory management, order fulfillment, and supplier performance. • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to improve key metrics such as OTIF, fill rates, shrink, location accuracy, and inventory turnover. • Extract, clean, and structure data from multiple sources (ERP, WMS, TMS, and external vendor systems). • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts. • Support cost optimization initiatives by analyzing spend patterns, forecasting demand, and improving freight and distribution strategies. • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Procurement, and IT) to align data insights with business objectives. • Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security while ensuring compliance with industry regulations (GMP, FDA, GDP, etc.).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or supply chain analytics.
- Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, DOMO, Looker).
- Strong SQL skills to extract and manipulate data from multiple systems.
- Experience working with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Blue Yonder).
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query).
- Understanding of supply chain concepts such as demand planning, inventory optimization, and logistics KPIs.
- Strong communication skills to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bonus Points: Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Exposure to machine learning applications in supply chain forecasting.
