Communications Specialist
Growth Leads
• Develop and distribute communication materials including press releases, articles, organizational announcements, website content, and success stories. • Ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all external platforms and communication channels. • Support media engagement and external partnerships to strengthen visibility and public profile. • Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional public image through timely and accurate communications. • Support management of the organization’s digital footprint, including website updates and coordination of social and digital content aligned with organizational priorities. • Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to align digital campaigns and communication activities with business objectives. • Monitor engagement and support reporting on communication performance where applicable. • Support communication planning and execution for events, conferences, partner engagements, and public-facing activities. • Coordinate event-related content, announcements, invitations, and post-event communications. • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure events support outreach, partnerships, and growth objectives. • Prepare and distribute internal communications such as newsletters, staff updates, leadership messages, and initiative announcements. • Support teams in communicating key projects, milestones, and organizational priorities to staff. • Help ensure employees are informed about external activities and initiatives that affect the organization.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in communications, marketing communications, or public relations.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Understanding of communication channels, digital platforms, and media engagement.
- Experience supporting events, campaigns, or public-facing initiatives is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
