Business Development Manager – C&I

• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in C&I Segment. • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and market expansion goals. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility companies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners. • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our solutions. • Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial objectives. • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations tailored to customer requirements. • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while meeting customer expectations. • Work closely with the product development, solution engineering and energy services teams to ensure our solutions meet market demands and regulatory standards. • Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute effective campaigns and promotional activities. • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management. • Track opportunities, manage pipelines, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Should have 8 years of experience in BD, sales, or a related role within the industry segment.
- Proven track record of successfully selling digital energy solution to the Commercial & Industrial segment.
- Deep understanding of industry challenges and opportunities.
- Strong network of contacts within the specific industry segment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
