Internal Reporting Analyst

• Manage and maintain our internal data stack, including Snowflake (data warehouse), dbt (data transformation), and Sigma (BI/dashboarding). • Design, develop, and maintain data models in dbt that support reporting and analytics across business functions. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document data requirements and to translate them into scalable and maintainable data solutions. • Build and maintain Sigma dashboards to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights to internal users. • Manage the roll out of analytical use cases and their promotion from pilot, testing, to production including change management, documentation, and enablement • Monitor data quality and ensure integrity, governance, and best practices across systems. • Identify opportunities for process automation and improvements within data pipelines. • Act as the go-to expert for leadership on leveraging our internal data and using that data to make strategic business decisions.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with: Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse.
- dbt (Data Build Tool) for data modeling and transformation.
- Sigma Computing or similar BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficient in SQL and experience optimizing data queries for performance.
- Proficient with version control tools (e.g., Git) and modern data stack best practices.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles, ETL processes, and pipeline architecture.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and clear visualizations.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Experience working in fast-paced, startup or high-growth environments.
- Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation.

Role Description The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer supports Girl Guides of Canada’s (GGC) efforts in becoming a data-driven organization.
