• HCL Software is seeking a dynamic AppScan Technical Advisor to drive growth and innovation in application security. • In this customer-facing Pre-Sales role, you will be the trusted technical partner for our clients, ensuring their requirements are met with tailored software solutions. • You will conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs), collaborating closely with HCL Software Sales teams to shape, advance, and close opportunities across licenses, subscriptions, support, and services. • As a Technical Advisor, you will take a solution-focused approach to identify and deliver value, bridging the gap between customer needs and HCL Software capabilities. • You’ll work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product Management, Professional Services, Development, Support, and Client Advocacy to ensure a seamless customer experience and accelerate revenue growth.
Job Requirements
- Familiar with common Application Security Testing technologies (DAST, SAST, SCA, IaC, IAST, RASP, CSPM, API Sec, etc.)
- Familiar with modern software development languages (e.g., NET framework languages, Java, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, etc.)
- Experience with at least one scripting language
- Experience with any of the following Application Security products (AppScan, Snyk, Checkmarx, Invicti, OpenText (Fortify), Synopsys, Sonatype, Imperva, F5, Burp, etc.)
- Experience with Linux administration (e.g. RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.)
- Experience with Kubernetes administration (e.g. Kubernetes clusters, Helm, Docker, cloud platforms, etc.)
- Vast knowledge of developer and DevOps methodologies, trends, ecosystems, and best practices.
- German** – mandatory for the German, Austrian, and Swiss market.
- English** – professional level, as the company’s working language.
