AQA Engineer
Acronis
• Communicate with product managers, developers, and analysts to understand business and technical requirements • Review and analyze the product and its requirements • Design test suites and test cases • Develop automated tests for Windows, Linux, and macOS • Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to ensure automation code quality and maintainability • Execute and maintain regression test suites to validate release stability • Analyze automated test results • Maintain detailed documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results, ensuring clear communication of testing activities • Collect comprehensive and relevant data for bug investigation • Analyze customer issues, investigate root causes, and participate in technical discussions with R&D teams • Understand requirements & review product specs together with - PMs/devs/analysts • Design test suites/cases & develop automated tests (E2E, API/UI, regression) • Participate in code reviews for automation quality & maintainability • Execute & maintain regression suites, analyze results daily • Investigate bugs/root causes (including customer issues), collect data, discuss with R&D • Keep detailed test documentation & ensure release stability
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer (Python)
- Solid knowledge of QA theory: principles, methodologies, and techniques
- Tech stack: Python, Postman, API/UI testing, Playwright, SQL, Jira, Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Confident skills in basic Windows/Linux/macOS system operations, including software installation, network configuration, and general troubleshooting
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to solve complex logical problems
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Upper-intermediate English
- Strong skills in using AI-assisted tools for test design, test analysis, and automation
