Territory Manager
CDM Smith
• Provide stewardship for the Arxada Crop Protection product range within the territory • Grow sales across the different crop sectors in the region • Build and develop strong relationships with customers and their representatives at all levels, from store to field representatives to head office • Maintain regular customer contact, providing sales information, feedback, and technical advice • Present technical information to customer staff using various formats (including PowerPoint), for training on the use of Arxada products • Create business plans for key customers, with regular reviews and a clear focus on growth • Support the implementation of sales plans and strategies with key regional customers • Build and maintain a strong industry network, including key sector contacts, influencers (e.g. seed companies), and end users such as growers and spray contractors • Attend industry events to learn, network, and engage with customers and key influencers • Gather and share market intelligence with the NZ Commercial Manager and the wider sales team, identifying sales opportunities and potential new markets for crop protection and nutrition products • Provide regular updates to the broader Arxada Crop Protection team on regional market conditions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Agriculture, or Agribusiness (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- 5–10 years’ experience in technical sales
- Fluent business-level English with strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools
