Job Description
Technical Consultant – Confectionery, Bakery
IRCA Group
• You conduct product applications, demonstrations and training sessions at customer locations — whether in the bakery, at a wholesaler, or at trade shows. • You support our sales team with your hands-on technical expertise — introducing products where they are genuinely needed. • You develop new recipe ideas, application methods and practical solutions together with our customers to support their daily operations. • You act as the point of contact for specialist wholesalers, bakeries, confectioneries and patisseries — from first contact through to on-site application. • You organize workshops, events and trainings — both in Germany and occasionally in Italy — in collaboration with our sales, marketing and application technology teams. • You monitor the market, provide feedback to our product development team and help identify new trends early. • With your open, solution-oriented manner you ensure our customers feel exceptionally well supported.
Job Requirements
- You have completed training as a baker or confectioner; ideally you hold further qualifications as a master baker or master confectioner.
- You bring practical experience — from the craft, production or technical field service.
- You enjoy passing on knowledge, explaining products and inspiring customers — with expertise, patience and a sense of humor.
- You like being on the road, are self-organized and open to new experiences — you feel comfortable in field service and appreciate variety.
- You enjoy working with premium products and understand the needs of artisan businesses and specialist wholesalers.
- You work well in a team — including across borders — and are communicative, reliable and solution-oriented.
- You speak fluent German; English is a plus.
- You are familiar with common digital tools (MS Office, Outlook, etc.) — not an IT specialist, but organized.
Benefits
- A company car — available for private use
- Maximum freedom: work on the road or from home, plan your own week and spend around 3–4 days per week at customer sites — fully equipped with everything you need
- You work with exceptional products — high-quality chocolates, creams, fillings and ice-cream ingredients that convince from the first bite
- Regular exchange with Italy — at team meetings, events or product trainings on site
- A small, highly motivated team in Germany that combines craftsmanship, sales and culinary passion
- Plenty of room for your ideas — here you can help shape projects, experiment and truly make a difference
- Enthusiastic customers — from artisan businesses and specialist wholesalers to modern patisseries
