• Take ownership of end-to-end Transaction Monitoring investigations involving both individuals and entities, which may result in the drafting and filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). • Navigate complex scenarios and issues, balancing high-volume workloads with exceptional attention to detail. • Operating with minimal supervision, prioritize effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and remain open to feedback to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial services, crypto, investigations, legal, or the tech industry, with a focus on TMS, compliance, or regulatory matters.
- Relevant experience in drafting suspicious transaction reports in the format provided by Singapore Police Force and filing it on the SONAR portal
- Able to identify red flag indicators and populate them correctly in the STR files
- Conduct investigative review and analysis in support of company’s AML regulatory compliance policies and programs including investigating automated alerts from our transaction monitoring systems, and referrals sourced from law enforcement requests and other company lines of business
- Analyze transaction activity and KYC information and conduct due diligence research in support of investigations as well as interpret evidence from external tools and systems to determine the legitimacy of customer behavior across multiple products
- Document investigations in written narratives
- Decide whether activity warrants escalation for additional review and subsequently recommend whether activity appears suspicious and warrants filing of a suspicious activity report
- Incorporate feedback from Quality Assurance Team
- Maintain detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures
- Remain current with industry standards and developments in the areas of KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC, and apply regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures to case investigation

Position Description: We are seeking a seasoned, experienced professional to be Managing Director, PHS Helplines and lead HRiA’s PHS cluster, currently comprising a team of over 50 staff and a $10M+ project portfolio comprising a statewide substance use helpline in Vermont, and substance use helplines and problem gambling helplines in Massachusetts and Illinois. As part of the senior leadership of the PHS cluster, the Managing Director will supervise and work closely with two Senior Directors, Helplines one of whom leads the MA and IL helpline teams, and the other leads the VT helpline team and the centralized Contact Center team that provides information and referral services to residents of all three states. In addition, the Managing Director will work closely with a part-time Managing Director, Behavioral Health who supports new business development and manages and coordinates the work of “functional teams” that provide data, technology, web, outreach, marketing, and communications services across the portfolios. Each of these teams is led by a Director or Associate Director from relevant departments at HRiA. The Managing Director will establish and operationalize the overall vision and direction for the cluster, in collaboration with the Senior Directors, Managing Director, and the Vice President.
