Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs – Advertising and Promotion

• Provide regulatory strategic input, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies to various global and U.S. internal teams on branded and unbranded concepts, promotional materials, disease awareness communications, medical communications and sales training/education materials • Provide creative and solution-oriented feedback to meet business goals and further business objectives • Serve as the primary point of contact with the Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) for designated product(s) • Ensure promotional materials are consistent with FDA-approved labeling, compliant with applicable FDA regulations, and completed in accordance with 2253 submission requirements • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal colleagues including, but not limited to: Commercial, Medical, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Strategy and Labeling, and Medical/Marketing Operations • Work with management and Reg AP team members to ensure communications and feedback are generally consistent across franchises • Assist Regulatory Ad Promo department in monitoring evolving regulatory landscape and communicating updates to internal stakeholders

Job Requirements

Position Description: We are seeking a seasoned, experienced professional to be Managing Director, PHS Helplines and lead HRiA’s PHS cluster, currently comprising a team of over 50 staff and a $10M+ project portfolio comprising a statewide substance use helpline in Vermont, and substance use helplines and problem gambling helplines in Massachusetts and Illinois. As part of the senior leadership of the PHS cluster, the Managing Director will supervise and work closely with two Senior Directors, Helplines one of whom leads the MA and IL helpline teams, and the other leads the VT helpline team and the centralized Contact Center team that provides information and referral services to residents of all three states. In addition, the Managing Director will work closely with a part-time Managing Director, Behavioral Health who supports new business development and manages and coordinates the work of “functional teams” that provide data, technology, web, outreach, marketing, and communications services across the portfolios. Each of these teams is led by a Director or Associate Director from relevant departments at HRiA. The Managing Director will establish and operationalize the overall vision and direction for the cluster, in collaboration with the Senior Directors, Managing Director, and the Vice President. They will set and pursue goals and objectives to build and sustain the cluster portfolio; build and manage the cluster budget; supervise and mentor senior leaders on the team; promote and support a cohesive and effective team structure and dynamic aligned with HRiA’s values to achieve cluster and organizational goals in pursuit of HRiA’s mission; and hire and supervise key staff to support day-to-day operations. The Managing Director works with and supports Sr. Directors and other key staff to monitor and implement project workplans, meet project milestones, and deliver products and services on time and within budget.
