Sales and Business Development Manager, German Speaking
Intertec Systems
• Identify and research target accounts across the DACH region using market intelligence and strategic analysis • Execute outbound campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate qualified opportunities • Develop 5-8 qualified potential customers per six months, building a sustainable pipeline for long-term growth • Participate actively in pre-sales activities, collaborating with technical teams to understand client requirements and craft tailored solutions • Conduct discovery conversations to uncover client challenges, technical environments, and business priorities • Translate technical capabilities into business value propositions that resonate with decision-makers • Support the creation of technical proposals, estimates, and proof-of-concept scoping • Represent Intertec at industry events, IT summits, trade shows, and networking functions across the DACH region • Present the company's capabilities, case studies, and value proposition to prospective clients and industry audiences • Build brand awareness and generate leads through active event participation and follow-up • Contribute to the planning and execution of Intertec-hosted events and webinars • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, IT Directors, Heads of Engineering) •
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management-preferably in IT services, software development, or technology consulting
- Deep understanding of the custom software development industry, including development methodologies, technology stacks, and delivery models
- Fluent German (native or C1+) and professional English-both written and spoken
- Proven ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders via phone, video, and in-person
- Comfortable presenting to groups and representing the company at professional events
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Preferred Experience in pre-sales or solution consulting roles
- Experience selling technology services to enterprise clients in the DACH region
- Understanding of legacy modernization, cloud migration, AI/ML, or digital transformation initiatives
- Existing network within German enterprise IT departments
- Track record of event participation or public speaking
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
