Technical Project Manager

• Lead technical project management for BI and Azure Data Platform initiatives • Act as a proxy Product Owner • Coordinate delivery across business stakeholders, self-service BI teams, and central platform engineering • Manage dependencies, timelines, risks, and deliverables • Apply agile delivery frameworks while integrating traditional project management practices • Support teams in the use of Microsoft BI and Power Platform solutions • Ensure alignment with Azure Cloud & Data architecture • Oversee incident and operational management • Ensure service stability, minimal disruption, and continuous improvement of the BI platform • Enforce enterprise governance, security, and compliance standards • Coach teams on self-service BI best practices • Facilitate stakeholder alignment, expectation management, and decision-making • Maintain transparency through structured reporting and documentation
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
- Proven experience in Technical Project Management within BI, Data, or Cloud environments
- Experience acting as a proxy Product Owner
- Strong experience managing dependencies, timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud & Data technologies
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft BI & Power Platform
- Experience with Power BI Service & Desktop
- Experience with governed self-service solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate
- Strong expertise in Agile project delivery frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe in enterprise environments
- Experience working in large, distributed, and international teams
- Practical experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow
- Experience coordinating incident and operational management
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Strong enterprise governance and compliance mindset
