Senior Product Owner – Anti-Fraud

RecargaPay

• Strategy & Discovery - Define the roadmap for fraud prevention products, proactively identifying new threats and optimization opportunities in risk engines. • Data-Driven Decision Making - Get hands-on with data. You will have autonomy to run your own SQL queries to validate hypotheses, extract performance reports, and justify project prioritization based on financial and operational data. • ML/AI Lifecycle Management - Actively participate in the design and evolution of Machine Learning models, translating complex business rules into clear requirements for Data Science and Engineering teams. • Delivery & Backlog Management - Turn strategy into clear, technical User Stories, manage a prioritized backlog, and ensure continuous value delivery with the development team. • Performance & KPIs - Closely monitor success metrics (Fraud Rate, Approval Rate, False Positives, Chargeback) and report the impact of initiatives to leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Senior Experience as PM/PO - Proven track record managing digital products with high transaction volumes.
  • Hands-on Analytical Profile - Solid SQL knowledge to independently run queries, join datasets, and perform analyses (no need to be a DBA, but autonomy is required).
  • Payments / Fraud Background - Previous experience with payment methods (Acquiring, Issuers, Schemes) and/or fraud prevention tools.
  • Business Acumen - Ability to balance financial risk (losses) with user friction (conversion).
  • Communication Skills - Ability to communicate technically with developers and data scientists, and strategically with business stakeholders.
  • Nice to Have
  • Machine Learning / AI Experience - Experience in projects involving the development or retraining of predictive models.
  • Statistical Knowledge - For deeper behavioral analysis and modeling.
  • Languages - English and/or Spanish (technical reading and international benchmarks).
