Solenis

• Manage $80MM+ in regional direct spend for Solenis chemical purchases • Manage multiple global categories direct spend for Solenis chemical purchases • Develop and implement a sourcing strategy in partnership with our global team to achieve cost savings and drive operational efficiencies • Collaborate closely with the R&D organization and manufacturing operations to coordinate portfolio changes either for savings or innovation • Identify and implement cost savings projects which meet or exceed company objectives while ensuring reliable support • Support cross-functional and multi-regional teams working on new product development and launch planning for chemical innovation projects • Manage on-going supplier performance to meet or exceed all metrics regarding service, performance, quality, cost and sustainability in collaboration with Supply Chain • Provide support to manufacturing locations on matters related to material shortages, quality issues, savings projects, network analysis and new product introduction

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree – Chemistry or Sciences
  • Master’s degree in Business or Sciences is a plus
  • Certified Purchasing Manager certificate is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, Supply Chain and/or Product Management position
  • A strong knowledge of chemistry and chemical market background is preferred
  • Experience with strategic sourcing methodologies, structured contract negotiations and supplier performance management
  • Effective time management skills in order to facilitate multiple priorities and firm deadlines
  • Strong analytical, financial analysis and problem solving skills
  • Experience and working knowledge of SAP
  • Proficient English writing and communication skills required
